NYTE Matrix · Release note

The Season, Closed: Creasy Season: Late Night Deluxe

Lagos · 9 October 2026 · Late Night EmoWave

We are the label that put this out, so read the rest knowing that. What follows is what we released and why, not a discovery.

What dropped

On 9 October, NYTE Matrix released Creasy Season: Late Night Deluxe, the expanded edition of Parry Creasy's debut album Creasy Season (1 May 2026, 16 tracks). The deluxe runs 22 tracks, 62 minutes, and it is not a re-upload with a new cover.

Six tracks are new to the album:

The sequencing changed too, and that is deliberate. Chasing Stars and 2AM now open the record at positions 1 and 2. No Sense, which opened the original, sits at 13. Girls and Demons still closes it. The album now starts where he actually is instead of where he was in May.

Who is on it

Parry Creasy, born 13 August 2003, Lagos, Nigeria. Founder of NYTE Matrix. The name he uses for what he makes is Late Night EmoWave: emotional rap with hip-hop bones and atmospheric melodies, written and recorded mostly after midnight. He came to making music through the Tune Me app, as therapy first and craft second, and that order has not changed.

His own words on the record that matters most to him, from his Apple Music notes on Heart's a Freezer: emotional turmoil, people lost within themselves. It is still the plainest thing in the catalog and it still is not the best-mixed. That tension is the point.

Chasing Stars came out on his birthday, which he has said is not a coincidence. 2AM (Slowed) follows on 20 November 2026, a standalone reconsideration of the August single.

Why we are putting this out again

Because the 16-track version told half the story and the second half is the better half.

Creasy Season, as released in May, is one long night at one tempo. Listening to all 16 in a row, the mix is the ceiling, not the songs; the writing is stronger than the room it was given. The four singles that came after May were recorded by someone who had decided to stop apologising for the size of the thing. They are louder, dirtier, and less careful. Putting them inside the album rather than beside it changes what the album is about.

That is the argument for the deluxe: not more tracks, a different record. If you heard Creasy Season in the spring, you have not heard this.
